Just Today...

Just Today...Feb 4th
Out side my window... It is raining.
The time is... 2:55 PM
Today I feel...Blessed. Although this day has been trying and VERY stressful ,it has still been a day full of blessings. Days filled with little people are my favorite kind of days:)
I am thinking... about canceling Girl's Night Out because the weather is just so messy. I don't like driving in rain.
At the moment I am thankful...that I get to spend all day tomorrow with Brookelyn. It's going to be a Brookelyn & MeMe kind of day. I keep Brookelyn a couple of days each week ,but usually I have extra kids here, so my time with just Brookelyn in limited.  I am excited about my day ahead with my wee little GRANDbaby:)
I am going...to walk next door to Tara's later.
I am wearing...jeans and a red hoodie
I wish...you could have seen Brookelyn & her little friend Hailey. They have been glued to the windows watching Red & Martha (our chickens). They both get so excited...it's just precious. Little kids get so excited about the smallest things...to bad that adults seem to loose that.
I am working on...My "One Blessed MeMe Blog". I am trying to use a solid background with only a header  instead of a background like I have on this blog. However, I'm having no luck...grrrr Do any of you know where I can find an html code? I want my header to stretch all the way across the top of my blog instead of just centered. I want the the side bar to be on the right side. I want my post area to be larger than it is on this blog,so that I can add larger pics. Any help would be so VERY appreciated.
I am hoping...to get my other blog up and running again very soon.
I am hearing...Jon playing chase around the bar with Brookelyn. She loves her Uncle Jon. He always plays chase and she LOVES to be chased. When you catch her she just laughs and laughs.
Around the house...I give up...the kids are playing hard. I will try to get it back in order tomorrow.

As for Today.... rain rain go away...winter winter go away. We are so ready for some sunny Spring days.
As for tonight...not sure yet what I have planned. I may just set home and work on my blog.
As for the weekend...Tomorrow is Brookelyn Shae's day! and then Sunday we plan to attend church and have a family day (dinner + us &the kids :).
My picture thought for today...she loves her dolls. It's so precious. She will kiss them and rock them back and forth. I love watching her play with her babies. I love how she loves them.

Today I feel...great!!! I think it will be a good day.
The weather here...is toooooooo cold. I'm ready for Spring now:)
I am thinking...about the work I have planned for Jacob today.
At the moment,I am thankful...to finally be getting back to our normal schedule.
I am going...through the christianbook catalog and about to place a book order for some new books I've been wanting to read.
I am wearing...black bottoms & a red top...house clothes:)
I wish...I had this back room finished. If I had it finished I would take the 4 little foster kids that went into care yesterday:( It makes me sad to say no. I just really don't want to cram kids in bedrooms. We have room for 2 ,but right now we just don't have room for 4 until this room is done. Please help me pray about this.
I am reading...In the eye of the storm by Max Lucado. I started it a while back and ended up doing a bible study with Elizabeth George which took up my reading time. So I'm glad to be back to reading it. I'll let you know what I think when I'm done but so far it seems to be exactly what I needed to read.

I am hoping...that Hubby calls shortly.
I am hearing...Emma & Lacy talking/playing and the other computer talking.
Around the house...I'm finally done taking down my Christmas decor. I boxed them up in rubbermaid containers but I still need to get those put in storage. It's just to cold to do anything. I don't like cold weather.
I bet you didn't know...that I've lost 6 pounds over the holidays. Don't ask me how. I wasn't on a diet or anything. I guess maybe it was because I was just sooooooo busy and on the go. I had been scared to step on the scales, but when I did I was surprised. I was happy:)
One of my favorite ...new snack is the nature valley sweet & salty bar. Hubby brought one home and now I'm hooked. I had one for breakfast this AM.

Around the house...things look pretty good:) I went on a cleaning spree this morning. I woke up in a cleaning mood:)
One of my favorite ...things about the morning is the newness in it. It's a new day with new starts and new ideas. It's the chance to start over all fresh and new. It's like a new white piece of paper... it's up to me what I want to put on it/in it.
It makes me think of the day when I found Jesus. I was lost. I was dirty. I was like a crumbled piece of paper. I wasn't fresh and far from white and clean. I was covered with this and a little of that. I had broken pieces and rips here and there,and the marks that life had left behind,but then God stepped in. He saw this crumbled piece of paper "me" and He said this won't do.
He saw something that day and decided I was worth saving. He gave me a new sheet of paper all white and clean and a brand new start. He gave it to me to use for His glory. For that, I am ever indebted ...God is good!!!!!

I bet you didn't know...that Amber loves onions. I just cut up an onion to go in a potato casserole and she started pitching a fit for a bite and I told her she wouldn't like it, but I gave her a slice and she keeps crying for more... I hope it won't make her sick.
One of my favorite ...things to do in the evening is to sit down,wrap up on the couch, and read, but I don't get to do that very often. I seldom sit.

Around the house...I need to organize my cabinets( throw away what we don't use or donate it)
I bet you didn't know...that I started back to school this week...go me!!!! But let me tell you what I did....grrrr I had a test to take on Wednesday and I was taking it on line. I knew the test well. So I sent the test via the internet. I got my results back and guess what I made?!?! A 30... I couldn't believe it. I couldn't figure out how that could possibly be,because I knew the material(remember I've set down my schooling for the last year) So I learned most of this last year and I had studied hard and I knew something wasn't right. So what happened??? I turned in my test online and when I typed in my test number (all tests have an 8 digit number that you have to type in to get the correct answer form( when you submit it online). But, when I typed it in, I missed by one number and somehow I didn't realize the title of the test was not the same, but both tests were in language and you only get a form, not he actual test with questions. I just didn't catch it.
Anyhow, I ended up having to get my teacher to drop the grade and I was so scared he wouldn't ,because he is very particular. When you take a test, if you ever fail one(which I haven't) but if you do, they let you re-test one time (5 days later) but the highest you are allowed to score on the second try is a 70...grrrr
Anyhow, after writing my teacher a loooooooooooooooong letter and begging him to pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease drop the test score and let me re-take it. He finally did, but not without a lecture...grrrrr (made me feel like a little kid in elementary school) I ended up making a 100. So that made my GPA a 94...much better than it was gonna be,with that 30. Anyhow, I won't take another test and send it online without being absolutely sure I'm on the right one,because he let me know real quick that he WON'T do that again.

I bet you didn't know...that I have a sound machine to help me sleep. I have always been a very light sleeper. To the point that I was constanly waking up from little noises in my house, Brent turning over in the bed(which is why we went and bought a king sized bed ), a kid coughing, etc Everything would wake me up. But when I got the sound machine, and got use to the sound of rain(my favorite) or the ocean(Brent's favorite) It blocked out all the little noises... So I sleep better. I still wake up if it is a loud noise, or a kid cries,etc but I don't wake up when the air kicks on or the dryer buzzes, etc

At the moment,I am thankful...that my Pastor's wife is doing better
I am going...to take a loooooooooooooong hot bath...shortly:)
I am wearing...an ugly purple track suit but it is soooooo comfortable
I wish...my dishwasher was working so I didn't have to wash so many dishes tonight

Around the house...it's not to bad. I had a really busy day today, but the girls stepped up and helped out with the house...they are such a huge help when I need them most
I bet you didn't know...that Ashley cooked our dinner tonight:) I started,but what I wanted to cook,she didn't want,so I said fix what you want and she did. Pasta with garlic cheese bread...yummy!!!!
One of my favorite ...things to do at the end of the day is to set down with my kids and just listen to them talk about everything. I looooove them sooooooooooooooo much. I always tell them that God searched all over Heaven for the most perfect kids and he sent those to me. I'm blessed!!!!! No they are not perfect ,but they do fit perfectly in my life:)
I just couldn't imagine my life without kids. Even though sometimes they drive me nuts and stress me to my limits, I wouldn't trade them for anything.
My grandmother told me that I am rich. I asked her what did she mean,because wealthy($$$$$) we are not. She said no, you have kids don't you and I said yes, a house full. She asked would I take a million for any one of them and I said no way!!! She said okay well that means their value is higher than a million and you are rich. So yes, I guess I am rich:) I just thank God for them...every single one and the twins too...lol
