On August 17, Blaze started PreK-4. It was a hard decision on if and where he would go to preschool. After being so unhappy at the deaf school, we decided that we would try our local special needs preschool. It has by far been one of the best decisions that we have made. Blaze is VERY happy and LOVES school this year! We had to meet a few times to get everything set up and put in place for him, before he started, but it was so worth it. He has a regular prek teacher and a deaf teacher who comes in for a few hours each day. For now, he is going 3 days a week and on the other days he goes to private therapies and the autism center. This is working well for him and he has made a lot of progress! It makes it so much easier on me seeing him so happy!
