~As for me and my house we will serve the Lord ~ Joshua 24:15

Just pics from the week...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas here
in our little neck of the woods.
I just LOVE Christmas.
I've been a little slower with decorating
this year, but we are getting there.

These are a few of my favorite ornaments.

Hung in memory of my nanny.
(She was and will always be my angel)

Hung in memory of my
 brother Robby (He was a deer hunter)
1970-2005

Hung in memory of my
brother Bryan (He loved to fish)
 1980-2011

We've been baking a lot these days.

The stocking were hung by the chimney with care:)

Daddy kisses under the mistletoe:)

Elfie was in our tree this morning:)
I added these neat snow covered windows
this year. They remind me of my grandma's house.

I guess Elfie was flying to low
or he was adoring Joshua (BB) as he was sleeping....lol

Poor baby hates hats.
We had to start making him wear the pilot
boggins to keep his hearing aids in.
He pulls them out everytime I put them in
his ears.

Tooooo Sweet...

This will be our baby's first Christmas.

It's so exciting.
Babies are just so fun!!!!

He is so excited about our tree.

He loved the lights!
I promise that I did not let him
 put them in his mouth :)

O Christmas Tree...

I let the boys help me decorate.
I told them that they could help
hang all the ornaments,
but no two ornaments could touch.
They actually did a great job!

Our 2012 Christmas tree.
The tallest tree we've ever had
 (as far as I can remember).

I just LOVE the smell
of a fresh cut tree.
It makes me think of being a kid
and living at home.

And Baby Pictures

My baby.
My miracle.
My gift from God.

Our baby doesn't suck passys
He sucks blankets:)

The most wonderful time of the year...

I just love this time of the year.
Everything about it is
WONDERFUL!
I love having children to enjoy it with.
I love listening to Christmas music ALL season long.
I love watching Christmas DVDs over & over.
I love seeing little eyes around the tree
(We are doing that tonight!)
I love watching little ones decorate cookies
and then watching them take that first
messy bite.
Yep, it's the best (If you ask me).
It's the MOST wonderful time of the year.

Just a few pics...

On our way to the mall to see the chubby guy in the red suit:)
The kids were sooooo very excited!!!!
(Mom was too *wink*)

Below is our Christmas present this year
and we couldn't be happier.

We are so excited to celebrate BB's
 very first Christmas.
Is there anything more precious than a baby
at Christmas?
God must know that babies make
Christmas special
after all the very first Christmas was
because of a very special baby
named
JESUS!

~~~~~~~~~~~
Waiting to see Santa.
The pics with Santa will be added tomorrow.
JJ loved seeing Santa. He was overly happy & talkative.
He asked Santa to bring him an airplane...lol
BB was just amazed at Santa and just kept looking at him.
Bry told me that she did not want to set in Santa's lap
and that was ok.
Next weekend we have breakfast with
Santa and maybe then we can convince her
that Santa really is a nice guy:)
~~~~~~~

Have a great night everyone!
I'll try to scan the Santa pics tomorrow
and upload them to share.

25 Books Of Christmas...

We started this *NEW* tradition last year and the kids LOVED it! We got the idea off of pinterest. It's the 25 books of Christmas. Each night my children unwrap one book for us to read together. Tonight we read, "We Believe In Christmas" By Karen Kingsbury.

This was a great book! When I get the chance I will add my list of books that we have chosen for the 25 Books Of Christmas.

Please keep Christ in Christmas.
Without Christ we couldn't
 have Christmas.
Never put an "X"
in the place of Christ
There is no such thing as
Xmas.

My baby boy...

Can you say LOVED???

Oh how I LOVE my sweet baby boy.
I think I ask him every day,
"How did we get chosen to have you?
Of all the babies in the whole wide world
how did we get so lucky to have you?"
He is so PRECIOUS.
We are so BLESSED!
His CASA came out on Wednesday
and she said that she received the paper work
from the state and it had been signed
off by our judge stating that
parents had surrendered and foster parents
have planned to adopt.
So now we just wait on
our big adoption day
better known by some as
Gotcha day!
This was great news!!!!

30 Days Of Thankful...

30 Days Of Thankful Day #30
Today, I am thankful that this is Friday. This has been a tough week, but thankfully I see the light at the end of the tunnel and the weekend is here!!!!!
This week I've survived 4 kids with strep, two grown kids with tummy bug, six therapy sessions, one PINES for the deaf session, 1 team meeting , 1 visitation with family, 1 state inspection/ home study, 2 days with a migraine, a trip to the urgent care, A meeting with CASA, a phone call from the school principal (grrr), a trip to the OB/GYN with Katie, Katie's sonogram, a visit by the nursing supervisor, 1 failed date night, 1 missing medical supply box, numerous trips to the pharmacy, and a broken dryer.
Needless to say, I survived this crazy week of mine. I no longer wake up with planned out days. I simply wake up and ask God to help me through what ever comes my way AND HE DOES!!!!
Now, I'm hoping for a nice calm weekend. I hope we will be able to go pick out a tree & decorate it this weekend. We may go watch the Dallas parade, but if not, we may just set home and enjoy the weekend ,because who knows what may be tossed at us next week.
I am thankful for this crazy life of mine, but I really do enjoy our weekends best.

30 days Of Thankful...

30 Days Of Thankful Day #29
Today,I am thankful that we got a great report
 on our newest grandaughter "Kaylan".

We have had quite a few scary moments with this sweet baby, but today it was all good news!!!!! Katie's placenta had grew over her cervix which put her & the baby at risk, but today they said it had moved away from the cervix. She should be able to deliver naturally. Yay!!!!
Everything looked great and our lil peanut is about 4 lbs & 12ozs now which puts her in the 48% which is perfect. She's a thumb sucker as you can tell in all her sono pics. We can't wait to hold our sweet baby girl and cover her in kisses & hugs.
