Looking back on 2014...

 

Here is looking back on 2014.

 

January 2014

 

*Kaylan turned one!

*Adalyn turned two!

*Brookelyn turned four!

*Justin got his cranial helmet.

*Blaze was released from the transplant team!!!!! His liver functions had improved so much that Dr Karpen released him!!!! This was our biggest most important apt of the year. Praise God for good results and one less appointment!

*Blaze met with an orthopedic doctor.

*Blaze was fitted for AFOs and adaptable shoes.

*GA PINES approved Blaze for the deaf mentor program.

*It Snowed!!!!!

 

February 2014

 

*Blaze turned two!

*Blaze was admitted into Children's for seizures and more testing.

*Our foster daughter Baby Girl went home.

*Blaze started some new therapy at McKenna Farms.

*We were hit with an Ice Storm and hubby was called out of town to work it. Katie stayed with me because Dylan was also called out of town.

 

March 2014

 

*Blaze got glasses.

*Once more Emory refused CI's for Blaze, because they felt the surgery is just to risky for him.

*We visited the Atlanta Children's museum.

*We took a trip to Chuck E Cheese

*We added a new foster. Our Princess "Tiny" arrived!

*Justin's mom surrendered her rights to allow him to be adopted.

 

April 2014

 

*Blaze was admitted to Children's for more testing.

*We had a Easter party at our house for the kids.

*We celebrated Easter at MeMaw & Paw Paw Cole's.

 

May 2014

 

*We had a baby shower for Katie.

*We had Aniston's baby dedication.

*Justin turned one!

*Justin walked.

*Justin went back to the cardiologist for his annual checkup and everything looked good!

*Blaze's tests came back and he was diagnosed with CP plus GDD . He was also referred to Marcus for possible Autism (he was officially diagnosed in Nov 2014 with Autism).

 

June 2014

 

*Carter turned three!

*Our new grandson arrived Little  "Waylan"!!!!

*We took part in VBS at BBC.

 

July 2014

 

*Anna started the foster/adoption process to adopt Justin.

*We took part in park day.

*We took a weekend trip to the North GA fair.

*We took a trip to Jelly Stone with my BFF Monica.

*We spent the 4th at the lake with Dylan and Katie.

*Blaze moved from a gate trainer to a walker.

 

August 2014

 

*Brookelyn started prek.

*We got a new foster daughter "Curly Top".

*Curly Top turned two!

*Brookelyn started gymnastics.

*We celebrated Bailey's 7th birthday at Chuck E Cheese!

*We took a trip to Baby Land General.

*Blaze took his very first unassisted steps. He is still not really walking, but he is still taking some steps.

 

September 2014

 

*Carter started prek.

*We started another homeschool year. We do virtual/ online schooling with Jacob.

*I met with the BOE on Blaze starting prek next March at the GA deaf school.

*We had the Sullivan family reunion (My mom's side).

*We had Hubby's family reunion.

 

October 2014

 

*We took a trip to North Carolina with my parents.

*We visited the pumpkin patch.

*We did trunk-or-treat

*We had a Halloween party at Anna's house for the kids.

*Blaze got fitted for new hearing aids.

*Justin had a sweat test done (twice this month).

*Justin started transitioning to Anna's house for adoption.

*Tiny had an upper GI done at Children's.

*Tiny had a swallow study done at Children's.

 

November 2014

 

*Blaze took part in Cape Day at Children's.

*Blaze was tested at the Marcus Autism Center. He was officially diagnosed with Autism.

*Blaze was referred to a genetics doctor by Marcus.

*Justin's Dad surrendered his rights to allow Anna to adopt him.

*Princess Tiny's mom surrendered her rights to allow us to adopt her.

*We agreed to adopt Tiny!

*Tiny had a sweat test done at Children's. (3 times this month)

*We got a new foster daughter "Maddy". She was just temporary.

*Zach came back to us after 2 years.

*Brent got promoted to a forman position.

*We enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner with Brent's mom.

*We enjoyed a Thanksgiving dinner with my family.

 

December 2014

 

*We had our foster recertification and are in for another year.

*Aniston turned one!

*Blaze got his very own walker.

*Tiny got a cranial helmet.

*Tiny met with a new ENT.

*Tiny had an endoscopy done at Children's.

*Ashley got a promotion and the job she had been praying for.

*We had breakfast with Santa.

*We had a gingerbread and craft party for the kids at our house.

*We took part in a Christmas play.

*We spent Christmas eve wih MeMaw and Paw Paw Cole.

*We enjoyed breakfast at Anna's on Christmas morning.

 

 We are looking forward to 2015!
