Today is a big day for our Blaze. A lady is driving from UGA to meet him. She is coming to evaluate him to see if he qualifies for the Georgia Sensory Assistance Project. He was referred to them by his special needs service coordinator and his home teacher. They feel that he is a child that might benefit from this program. If he gets accepted it will be a HUGE blessing to him and us. They will help us and the school to make sure that Blaze has everything he needs to reach his full potential. It also gives us one more voice speaking up for our little man. If he is accepted, he will be able to remain in the program until he is 21. I'm not sure exactly what all they are looking for. I know normally you have to be deaf and blind, but Blaze although he has some problems with his eyes is not legally blind. However, with his profound hearing loss, his vision issues, along with his other medical needs they think he will qualify. Please keep our little man in your prayers.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
