30 Days Of Thankful Day #12

Today, I am thankful for health. As I watch my little foster daughter struggle with breathing. I think how blessed I am to be able to breathe. I don't even think about it because it comes so easily for me.

 I watch her struggle to use her hands and I watch as her tiny legs struggle to hold her up as she tries to walk in her walker. It makes me sad. I am so blessed to be able to jump up and run. I'm blessed to be able to pick up things with my hands. She struggles to pick up something as small as a chip and then she has to pull it to her mouth. It would only take me a second to put a chip in my mouth. It can take her 10 minutes or longer but she keeps on until she gets it.

I am so fortunate to be healthy. Some are not so fortunate.

Back in 2002, the doctors didn't know if I'd live or if I did they didn't know how messed up I'd be after I came down with meningitis. Well,God healed me COMPLETELY. I know it was because He wasn't done with me yet. He still had things for me to do or He would have taken me on Home. I'm thankful that God allowed me to continue on because I love being about my Father's business. He died for me & I'm doing my best to live every single day for HIM!!! Thank you Lord for restoring my health and giving me a second chance to do your will.
