30 Days of Thankful Day #11

Today I am thankful for my church. When I married Brent I left my church and joined his. They welcomed me as if I had always went there. That was over 20 years ago and we are still going strong. We've raised our family up  in that church.  I love that place & our church family. They are like family to me and have been there when at times my real family wasn't. I am blessed every time I walk in that place.

 

 People don't realize what a privilege we have here in America to go to church & to worship God. Some places don't have that. In some countries people walk for miles just to hear about Jesus and yet we have people here that won't even bother to go or they only go for activities like Easter or Christmas. I want to stand before God and be found faithful to the house of the Lord ,because that's what God expects from us. (Hebrews 10:19). I just don't understand people who claim to have a relationship with Christ, but yet never attend church. Something is just wrong with that. Sorry. That's just my thoughts.

 

Thank you Lord for my church and our church family. I am blessed to be a part of such a special place.
