~As for me and my house we will serve the Lord ~ Joshua 24:15

What a blessing...

These pictures just blessed my heart. It blesses my heart to see my children serving others.
This weekend was Community Makeover 2011. It is an event that takes place once a year in July. Churches from all over join together to serve their communities. They go out and make a difference in the lives of others through service. This year, My Hubby and both of my sons participated. I can't even begin to express how proud I am of them.
I'm also proud of my church family. I am blessed to be a member of Beulahland. We may be a small little country church, but we have a great BIG heart.
A few of the activities our church joined in on this year was repairing homes for the elderly, planting, painting, cleaning up yards, mending fences, clothing and feeding the needy, and supplying school supplies for children. Who says one little church can't make a big difference! Way to go Beulahland!!!!!

Jacob loved being a part of Community Makeover. This was his first time to participate. He made a new friend. I think she liked him too!

My boys at work.

And a great big thank you to all the ones who fed our volunteers.
What a blessing!!!

No, I didn't get to take part this year. It was just to hot to have the babies outside all day plus this weekend I have extra little ones because I am doing respite for DFCS.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
