25 Days Of Pictures- Day 8

Oh the weather outside is frightful,
but the fire is so delightful...

We built our first fire of the year

in our fireplace today and

 ohhh it feels so good!

It's been VERY cold here these last few days

and I just don't like it at all.

It's suppose to be in the 20's tonight,

which is cold for the south.

We've had the wood heater going downstairs,

but it wasn't making much of a difference

at all in warming this old house.

The stockings were hung by

the chimney with care.

Look what Jacob found in his stocking?

It's "Elfy" our little elf on the shelf friend.

He's been all over the house this week.

The kids have LOVED having to look for him

every morning.
