When this song came out several years ago,I instantly thought of my children and dedicated it to them. Each time I heard it on the radio I would tell the kids, this is my song to you.
It has a message that I myself could have written, because it so says what I would love my children to know.
I raised my children to believe in themselves, that dreams can be reached, goals can be accomplished, and despite all the negatives in the world, you can still find positives if you take the time to look for them.
I hadn't heard this song in a long time, until yesterday. Ashley had this song playing on her TV and once more I fell in love with this song. But,this time I thought, this is so what I want to tell Brookelyn Shae, my sweet lil granddaughter...when she gets a little older. I want her to grow up knowing that all things are possible. So today, I want to dedicate this song to my sweet angel baby. I love you Brookelyn Shae with all my heart.
