Flash Back Friday

I decided to share the twins this weeksince they have a birthday coming up next week!The day I had my twins... I was all tummy.
I only went 4 days earlyand gained exactly 40 pounds.8/4/1993
Baby"A"-Ashley was 6lbs & 10ozs
Baby"B"-Jonathan was 5lbs & 12ozs They were a "V" birth and came 26 minutes apartand after 26 hours of labor...but it was worth it!

~~~Two To Love~~~
There's two to wash, there's two to dry,
There's two who argue, there's two who cry.
One's in the mud having a ball,
The other holds a crayon, another marked wall.
Some days seem endless, my patience grows thin.
Why was I chosen to be a mother of twins?

The answer comes clear at the end of each day,
As I tuck them in bed and to myself say,
There's two to kiss, there's two to hug,
And best of all, there's two to love!

Today's Devotion

Verse-Galatians 5: 22-26
22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith
23-Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24-And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25-If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
26-Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Thoughts-
The fruits of the Spirit are not a collection of do's and don'ts. It reveals the condition of our hearts and how we regard our relationships with others and situations we find ourselves in each day. Webster's Dictionary defines the fruits as " Love"- a deep affection for another person. "Joy"- a strong feeling of happiness. "Peace"- freedom from mental agitation or anxiety or calm. "Patience"- Possess or demonstrates quiet uncomplaining endurance under distress or annoyance. " Goodness"- An excellence of character, morals, virtue. " Kindness"- gentle and considerate. " Faithfulness"- true and trustworthy in the performance of duty. " Gentleness", mild in nature and disposition not hard rough or loud. " Self control"- Act power or habit of having ones faculties or energies under control.
If we were to examine our lives and our daily habits and suppose someone was to shine a light where all was revealed inside of us. How much fruit would we possess? How much of our fruit is anyone even aware of. God created us all differently. We should celebrate those differences, they are exactly what makes us who we are. But as believers in Jesus Christ one thing brings us together and that is our fruit. The fruit of the Spirit that lives within us when we accept Jesus Christ into our lives.
No matter what road brings us to know Jesus Christ the road ends on a hill with a willing Savior on an old rugged cross, who surrendered His life for us. He desires us to walk with the Spirit daily and that the fruit of the Spirit be reflected in all that we do and say.

Updates from Howellville

Well, where do I start? Everyone is doing really good! Hubby has been working two jobs and at the ball field four days a week, so he is gone most of the time now,which I don't like that much,but have come to accept. The extra income has been nice and I'm really glad he enjoys doing sports with our son,but sometimes I wish he wasn't ALWAYS gone. Corey & Anna are still on cloud nine(we all are) over the news and excitement of having a new addition to our family in Feb. All the talk in Howellville is about lil Baby Wesson and all our dreams and plans for this precious new baby:) We can't hardily stand the wait. We are all looking forward to next months sonogram:) We hope we will get to find out what it is. We all felt sad this past week ,because Anna's first baby would have been due if it would have made it. Katie- She is making me turn grey headed early and I'm not kidding. Can you say boys,boys,boys??? She has hit dating age and it is like boys keep popping up from everywhere...lol I thought raising boys was harder than girls, but since mine hit dating age, I've changed my mind. I just never dated that much,probably because I married so soon. I try to run the boys off ,but they just keep coming back...lol Ashley- is doing really good. I don't see her that much because she has been so busy all summer. She has been spending alot of time at Anna's and at her grandmother's. She has really enjoyed her summer. She is also doing school year round this year and doing very good. She is determined to finish early and I'm super proud of her. Jon- He also has had a busy summer with youth trips, and doing things with friends. He amazes me at how much he has grew up and changed just in the last year. He has outgrown his parents now:) He is also helping out on the football fields this year...He enjoys working with the kids:) Jacob- He is all about football. He wakes up talking about it and he goes to bed talking about it. He loves it!!! He wrote his on little story book the other day and drew pictures of himself on the ballfield ...so sweet:) He is growing up soooooo fast. He is also excited about his birthday that is coming up next month. I just can't believe my baby is getting so big...they grow up toooooo fast. Samantha- well she works alot and we don't see her that often except when she pops in to eat or to take a nap...lol I guess there is no place like home for a good nap and good food. Me- well I'm still just trying to keep my head above the water and enjoying my summer while it lasts.
Well,I can't forget my Lil Sunshine "Bailey" -or Happy Feet as my Nanny & Mom call her. She has a birthday coming up too. Can you believe she will be two next month? She is just growing and talking so much. She can carry on a conversation with you now and I love it. She blows my mind at just how smart she is. She is so precious to us.

We had a fun filled weekend ,but a very busy one! On Friday-Saturday we attended the HomeSpun Festival in Rockmart Georgia. On Sunday, we had Brent's Family Reunion for his mom's side!
