"This is the day which the LORD hath made; I will rejoice and be glad in it."
Psalms 118:24
What is your favorite part of the day?
~~~~~
Jacob-When my school work is done and I can go outside and play with all my friends.
Ashley- It would have to be evening. I like when it's just us at home. I like when things get quiet. I like when company leaves. I like having company, but I like it when it's just us in the evenings.
Katie-Evening is best. It's when no one is here, but our own family. It's quiet and I can do the things I want to do without a bunch of people running around.
Jon-I like after school hours. I like being able to go outside and hanging out with my friends.
Brent-I like the early morning before the sun comes up. I like the feeling of a brand new day.
Sandy-I enjoy the evening. When every ones been fed, dishes are washed and put away, baths have been taken, the kids are all doing their own things, all is calm, and I am free to do what I love to do most...READ. I usually slip away to read and pray. I can't tell you just how much I truly enjoy this time of the day. Evenings are very similar to my mornings. I just feel the closest to God at these times. I know He is there throughout my whole day. However, my days can get so busy. At times during all the hustle and bustle it is hard to find a quiet moment just to get alone with God. Although, I find myself talking to Him(sometimes grumbling too) throughout the day. There is just nothing better to me then when it is quiet and everything is still and I can just spend one on one time with God ,without any interruptions. I love it!!!!
One Day At A Time ...that is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful that it will be worth remembering.
My Life Quote...
"To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children...to leave the world a better place...to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." ~Ralph Emerson
Our Home...
Our Home is filled with toys, has fingerprints on everything and is never quiet. My hair is usually a mess and I'm often tired, but there is always love and laughter here. In a few years the kids won't remember the house or my hair, but they will remember the times we've spent together and the love we have shared. Children only get one childhood, let's make it a great one.
Something About Me...
Since you took the time to stop by, I thought that I'd tell you a little about myself. My name is Sandy. I started this blog on 08/01/2007. I am just a sinner saved by the grace of God. I love the Lord with all of my heart. He has been the best thing that ever happened to me. I'm a Christian, multitasking, book reading, picture taking, flower gardening, child loving, blogging and journaling kind of girl.
I was blessed to be married to my high school sweetheart Brent. However, the love of my life passed away in 2019. God blessed us with 30 beautiful years together, and 10 amazing kids. I'm also the MeMe of several little sweet peas and I was blessed to be the foster mom of 35 children. God has been good in my life. Because He died for me, I'm trying my best to live for HIM.
