Just a dumpy day

Have you ever had a day that it seems nothing goes right??? I guess after so many really good days,it was my turn to have a not so great one.
It just seems since I got out of bed everything has gone wrong. It's started with Katie not feeling good.. She has been sick all day.
Then Jacob didn't want to do his portfolio assignment. I showed him exactly what his teacher was looking for and I set him loose to do his work, but he ended up re-doing it 3 times, because every time his mind would wonder ,and he would go off topic. He was suppose to write a 1-3 sentence paragraph about something he enjoys doing with his family. It just didn't come to him this time and my patience wasn't as good as it usually is. I felt bad afterwards, but I knew he could do better than what he was doing and I wanted hiom to do his very best.
Then our water went out...grrrrr It has been happening a lot lately. We don't have county water because the county won't run it out here where we live...grrrrrr So when we go through dry summers(like we've had), we have a hard time with water come fall and winter. Well, this time it was worst than normal. Every time I washed one load of clothes, we would run out of water. Well, come to find out ,not only is our water low, but we had a huge leak under our house. So we had to go without water most of the day...which was hard with kids and I've had two babies on formula today.
It's 10:22pm and hubby is still under the house working on this leak. He said it would probably be another hour before we can even get baths.
Ashley and I loaded up all the laundry and took it to wash this evening. I hate taking my clothes there. You never know who or what might be lurking in those places.
Then I had hoped to decorate for Christmas, but I got my stuff out, and come to find out hubby lost the top part of my Christmas tree(it comes in 3 pieces)....grrr So I just put it aside,until I can go and look in storage for it. So that left Jacob and Trin very disappointed, but time we realized it was missing, it was to dark to try to go and look for it. It frustrates me because I had all of my Christmas stuff in rubbermaid containers and stored together in Brent's shop, but back in the summer he decided to put all MY stuff in storage to make room for his stuff, and now It seems all my stuff is mixed up here and there and I'm very frustrated about it.
Then I decided to upload all my Thanksgiving pictures and come to find out my picture disk and all my pictures are in Tiffany's camera and she won't be back here for probably a couple of weeks or more:(
After that, I pulled out our calendar and realized all that I had to get done this week and I felt so overwhelmed. We have the BOE report, The dfcs monthly to turn in, Jacob't state portfolio is due by Dec 5, dfcs meeting,and I have to make arraigments for my kids, because I've got to go out of town to school this coming weekend....grrrr . I was also hoping to go with Anna for her first OB appointment, but there is no way I can:( and I feel bad about that. So yes, I'm stressed.
Hubby just walked by and asked me what I was typing and I told him I was writing in my blog about my day and he said that I might as well stop, because there won't be enough room on here. ..Sometimes I do fel that way.
Sometimes I wish I was still a kid, and back home with my mom. Back then life was simple. All I had to worry about was doing my chores and keeping my grades up. Now life seems more like a roller coaster in fast forward. Am I the only one that feels this way???
Yes, it's not been a good day, but it could have been worse. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter.
