Our Angel Arrived...

With a heavy heart I share that Samantha's little boy was born sleeping on 05-28-17. Little Raidyn was born weighing 3.1 pounds and he was 17.5 inches long. God gained the most beautiful little angel. He was to precious and perfect for this earth. I got to hold an angel in my arms and I will never ever forget it. Although his time was brief, the impact will last forever.. 

Please keep his mommy, daddy, and big brother Carter in your prayers.

Congratulations Little Z!...

I don't even know where to start! This little boy has made us the proudest parents ever! He is such an amazing little boy. He has worked so hard this year in 1st grade and got the High Achiever award! He has had a great year and an amazing teacher who has worked really hard with him. 

When he was in kindergarten we considered holding him back because he was so young (only 4/ late birthday) when he started and because he had just came back into foster care and was going through a tough time, but I am so glad that we didn't! He has blew us away this year and was actually moved up to some advanced classes! 

We are so proud of you little Z! You are our pride and Joy! Never change who you are! You are the kindest and sweetest little boy and the BEST little BIG brother anyone could ever ask for! 

Also, we are so excited to share that after 6.5 years we finally have his adoption date! June 22nd! He is the perfect addition to our family!

Blaze's Big Day...

Today, our little man graduated from preschool!  He has had a wonderful year! He was blessed with the best teachers and parapros that a child could ever hope for. It's a bittersweet day. We are sad that he will be leaving his main prek teacher and most of his classmates, but we are excited to see what the next year has in store for him. His deaf teacher, vision teacher, and one of his parapros will be moving with him.  

We are so proud of Blaze! It was such a hard decision for us to send him to school this year, but it for sure has been a blessing! He has loved it! He has learned so much and has come a long ways.

Congratulations little man! Daddy and Mommy are soooo proud of you!

If you give a teacher a student...

If you give a teacher a student, they’re going to teach them things like math, science and grammar.

When they teach these subjects, the students will get smart and excited about learning.

When they get excited about learning, they will become curious about other subjects.

So, the teachers will indulge their curiosity through experiments and hands on learning.

As they teach their students, teachers will realize that they don’t just spend their day teaching, but they spend time coaching, loving and nurturing too.

So, they’ll probably give their students praise and positive reinforcement.

They’ll get carried away and they may even end up giving hugs and affection too!

When teachers are done, students will have a solid foundation of education to build upon.

Then, the students will apply their education in their careers. 

They might be successful engineers, doctors, lawyers, nurses or teachers.

And chances are, if the students are successful in the future,

They have a teacher, like you, to thank for it.

We are not sure yet if it will

be a boy or girl!

It doesn't matter to MeMe

if it wears pink or blue!!!! 

However, MeMe kinda thinks it will be a girl

because of the heart beat.

We will see!

Samantha has made it to 6 months!!!!

Woo hoo!!!

Today, she had a sonogram

 and everything looks great!

Raidyn is 1.5 pounds now!

He wouldn't move his hand 

out from in front of his face.

full term baby this time!

An update on Blaze after his GI surgery...

Blaze went to Children's to have surgery on Monday.

He had a fundoplication and a G-tube placed. He is now

4 days post-op and doing really well.

He sent a big thumbs up to all of his prayer warriors

on my facebook!

This is just the beginning of a healthier Blaze.

We fought hard to keep a feeding tube out

of him, but it had come to a point

that it was our only option.

He is going to feel much better after he heals!
