More pics from this week...

Lacy LOVES noodles and I get
 cracked up watching her eat them...lol
Brookelyn & Jake (one of my past DC kids)

My poor lil Brookelyn took a bump to her head:(
She got her first goose egg and it nearly scared her MeMe
to death. I'm just thankful she is okay.
Lil Lacy was trying to help her in the wagon and Brookelyn fell
and bounced off the wagon on to the driveway.
Bless her lil heart.
Little blue eyed girl I love you.

MeMe's Hunny Bun...

Run Little Mole...fast...

Our little dog has a bad habit.
She LOVES catching moles.
She doesn't kill them,
but she loves to play torture them.
Everytime I see her with one,
I take it away and set it free.
It was playing dead...lol
Can you blame it???
I told it to run, but instead it started digging...

and digging.
Have a good life Mr Mole
and stay away from Howellville
if you know what is best for you.

MeMe's Lil Cookie Punkin:)

Brookelyn loves cookies:)

She looks like she was saying, MeMe
can I please have just one more?

Just another day in Howellville...

Do you ever just wonder what another person's day is like?
Well, here is a peep into my world.
This is my den (this morning). The sweet peas were pretending
that they had built a bridge. They had fun!
I believe I have the best job on earth...
I get to stay home and play all day:)
We made cookies!
They were soooo yummy!

Today, we had a warmer than normal day for November.
The temps were in the high 70's and sunny:)
So the sweet peas enjoyed playing outside
and our little dog was glad they
came out to play.

Playing on the trampoline.
We even managed to get some yard work done.
Little Jada wanted to help me rake.
Samantha & Lacy
helped me watch little Hailey,
while I cleaned up around my flower beds.
They are all a big help.
Taking a break:)
Playing in the leaves:)

My big helpers:)

Look what we found:)
The kids loved watching it.
They wanted to keep it, but I told
them that it needed to be free.
Yes, it was just another day in Howellville.
~~~~~~
My facebook status today- Our home is filled with toys, has fingerprints on everything & is never quiet. My hair is usually a mess & I'm always tired, but there is always love & laughter here. In a few years my kids won't remember the house or my hair, but they will remember the time we spent together ...& the love we felt. Children only get one childhood make it a great one! ♥
Z's first trip to the doctor...
I took Little Z for his first trip to the doctor today. We've been waiting on his fostering medicaid to start, so that he could be seen. So today I took him to see Doctor Brown. He did so good. He weighed 11 pounds & 1 oz. He is 22 inches (not 23) long. He is in the 25th percentile in weight & height and his head is 40 which is average.
He got his first set of shots and he took them well. He hardily even cried. It mostly hurt his feelings but a fter being picked up and cuddled he was fine. He is such a sweet little guy.
He is still on the heart monitor ,but they may take him off if his results come back good this month.
Well, I guess that's about it. Overall he is doing great!!!!!
I have so much to be thankful for...
Oh My! Where should I start? I have so much to be thankful for. God has been so good to me. How can I thank Him enough????
It was hard to come up with just 10 things. But, here I go. My 10 things that I am most thankful for this season.
1. I am thankful for my family. God has blessed me with a wonderful family that I dearly love. Anyone that knows me, knows that I treasure my family. They are so precious to me. Thank you God for my family. My hubby & my kids.
2. I am thankful for the 18 foster children we have been blessed to know. They have taught me that it's possible to love someone else's child just like your own. The lessons I've learned from fostering, could be a list of it's on. But one thing I've learned is that anyone can change and bloom if given enough TLC and when I say TLC I mean "time", "love",and "compassion". This goes for the children and their bio families.
3.I am thankful for health. I am healthy and my family is healthy and I am so thankful for that. So many are sick and struggling right now and stand in need of prayers. Thank you Lord for my health & for a healthy family.
4. I am thankful for my home. No, it's not the cute little house with the white picket fence and the manicured lawn the one I dreamed about as a child. No, it's not that house. It's the little blue house on the left with the yard full of toys, the little mixed dog,and the grass that can't grow (because the kids keep it trampled down). It's the little house with the fingerprints on the windows and smudges on the door... Yes, it's that little house. You know, the one that feels like home,where everyone is welcome, and where there is plenty of love to go around. Yep! that's where I live. It may not look like much to you, but that little house is my home. Thank you God for my home.
5. I am thankful to still have my nanny with me. She wasn't suppose to still be here, but she's a fighter. She just keeps amazing her doctors. She starts kidney dialysis this week, so keep her in your prayers. Thank you God for my Nanny. I love her so much. She is the best grandmother anyone could ever ask for and I pray I can be just as good a grandmother to my precious Brookelyn Shae.
6. I am thankful that my Mom is feeling so much better and is doing so much better. I am thankful for the doctor that was willing to do the surgery on her spine, because it has for sure changed my Mom's life. Thank you God for my Mom.
7. Thank you God for my Hubby's job. He is our main provider. His work has been a little slack,but it usually gets this way every fall. His hours went down to 30 instead of 40. We are just thankful that he still has a job. God has supplied Hubby with extra work that he can do on the side and it has helped so much. God continues to help us to make ends meet. Thank you Lord for supplying us of our needs.
8. I am thankful for my job. I am blessed to be able to stay home and take care of these wonderful children. I love them dearly and I really can't imagine doing anything else with my time. Thank you Lord for my job.
9. I am thankful for my church. Church is a very important part of our life.  It's a gathering place where people who are like family to us come together to worship, pray, and learn about God. It's the best place I know to go. I love my church. I love my Pastor. I love my church family. I am so blessed. Thank you Lord for leading us there.
10.I am thankful for our friends. I am blessed with some very dear friends that have done so much for our family through the years. I am blessed to know what true friends are ,because I have a few in my life. Thank you Lord for giving me friends. Please help me to be just as good a friend as they have been to me.
Marshmallow Fruit Salad
Ingredients:
1 large can fruit cocktail
1 can Mandarin oranges
1 (20oz) can chunk pineapple
3 oz. cream cheese
8 oz. Cool Whip
3 oz. strawberry banana Jell-O
1 bag mini marshmallows
chopped fresh fruit (bananas, grapes, strawberries) (optional)
Directions:
Open and drain all canned fruit. If also using fresh fruit, chop and set aside in a bowl. Soften cream cheese in a large bowl.
Mix Cool Whip and dry Jell-O (just the powder) with the cream cheese. Make sure that all of the sugar/powder from the Jell-O is dissolved. Finally, add the marshmallows and canned/fresh fruit.
This may be served immediately, but chilling the fruit salad for 30 minutes to an hour before serving is best.
