Sugar Cookies Perfect For Decorating
3 cups flour
1 cup butter
1 egg
1 egg yolk (optional)
1 tsp vanilla
2 tsp baking powder
Preheat the oven to 370
Sift the flour and baking powder
Keep aside
Beat butter and sugar till soft
Add the egg, egg yolk (optional) and vanilla, and beat well, scraping down the sides
Add the flour and mix till it becomes a dough
Roll out between parchment paper or saran wrap
Place in parchment lined cookie sheet and refrigerate till firm
Bake for 12-14 minutes till the bottom is golden
