My Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream recipe...

This is the mixture that I use in my electric ice cream maker.

Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream...

Ingredients: 

5 cups milk (2 percent or whole)

3 cups of whipping cream

2 cups of sugar

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt 

Combine above ingredients, replace the ice cream dasher in the canister and then pour into your ice cream canister.

You will also need a bag of ice and ice cream salt.

 Once you close off the lid of the canister you will then fill the sides of the churn with ice and sprinkle ice cream salt to cover the top of the ice. Keep adding ice and the ice cream salt as the ice melts down and until the ice cream is soft serve consistency about 30 minutes. Enjoy!
