This girl came to us at just the right time. After losing our Ruby, our hearts were broken. It was so sad and empty without Ruby. Lucy came in and she has truly been a blessing. She is the most loving dog and so gentle. I wasn't sure how she would act with Blaze but she seems to understand. At first she was very curious about him but now I think she realizes. He has also warmed up to her. He pets her almost every day now but of course washes his hands as soon as he is done. I truly believe we found the perfect dog! Shelter dogs are the best!
