With #EpilepsyAwareness month coming to a close we are excited to announce that a wearable, seizure-detecting wristwatch (ankle band), tested in our Epilepsy Center, is moving towards a commercial launch! Called Embrace, it was developed at the MIT Media Lab to act as a "smoke alarm" for seizures and hopefully prevent unexpected death from epilepsy.
