~As for me and my house we will serve the Lord ~ Joshua 24:15

Ice go away...

We are in the middle of an ice storm here in Howellville.
Here in GA we DO NOT like ice.
We are not a state that gets this kind of weather that often,
actually it's very rare,
and when it happens our state shuts down.

Our family loves snow and are expecting
a few inches today, but also some ice
and we are not happy about that.

GO AWAY ICE!

My poor hubby and son-in-law Dylan
are out working in this mess.
They work for a tree service that contracts
for GA Power and during
storms GP sends them out
to work all over the state.

My son-in-law Corey is a fireman,
so he too is out and about serving
the community.

As for the rest of our family,
we are curled up by the fire, loving on the babies,
praying for every one's safety,
and crossing our fingers that our power won't
go off with this storm.

I'm concerned for our special needs foster child,
because she has to have power
 for her equipment to run.
The good news is that the fire department
should be able to bring us out a
generator if the power
stays out for to long or we may have
to have her transferred to the hospital.
Hopefully that won't happen.

Well, that's about it for now.

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
