I only have about 10 minutes before the sign language teacher arrives, but I wanted to make a quick update post. We have way to much going on here as you can probably tell by my lack of updates.
So basically here is our last 2 weeks in a few words...
We are grandparents again!!! Our little miracle arrived 4 weeks early, but she is a healthy baby girl!
We were on shut down all of last week as the nasty flu/tummy bug made it's way through our house claiming one victim at a time. Everything shut down and was put on hold. It was a tough week. Only the adults and Jacob got it, none of the three babies in my home got it and for that we are very thankful!
We canceled everything last week including our fostering re-cert. Will get to that later.
We enjoyed a fostering Christmas party and breakfast with Santa on Saturday.
Monday was filled with therapies, a meeting with the nursing agency, a meeting with Babies Can't Wait, and two appointments in Atlanta for the babies.
Blaze is getting fitted with AFO's. He got a new gate trainer/ walker which he LOVES it. He is playing bumper cars with all the walls and baby JK in his walker:)
Brylee is also getting fitted with a new gate trainer. Her neuro was very pleased with her Monday. He seems to think she will walk one day.
Our youngest foster JK is getting fitted for a helmet today to help his little flat head:)
We had court on JK yesterday and it got pretty heated. They didn't take JK out of my home and they didn't send him packing across the US with g-maw. That could happen in the future, but it's not looking as positive as it did before court. Please help me pray about this case. I've been missing sleep and consumed with worry about this baby and his future. I know I shouldn't worry and should just let go and trust God, but it's so hard not to worry. I've seen the system fail so many of my kids.
Well, the teacher is here. Off to classes with my baby boy. Have a great day and keep us in your prayers. A better update with picture coming soon!
