Are you as excited about fall as I am?
I love this time of the year. It's my favorite picture taking season and everyone knows I love taking pictures! New pictures coming soon! It's also my favorite season with my kids. We enjoy making a bucket list and enjoying all the fun that this season brings.
We are getting ready for our fall trip to Tennessee with the family. Looking forward to some time with my parents, my hubby, and the kids. I just wish all of my kids could join us. I love my family! I can't thank God enough for the great family He has blessed me with.
What else is going on in our family????
Well tomorrow baby girl has to have one more small procedure done. If all goes well we should only have to stay for the day. Hopefully, this will be our last trip to Children's with her this year (as long as she doesn't get sick). As far as her last surgery, it's looking like it was a success, time will tell.
Our little Joshua has two procedures coming up that he will have to have done. We just hope to have both done before the holidays, so we don't have to think about hospitals and procedures. Hopefully, this will be it for him too. I'm just tired of hospitals and they are too. We've spent the last year and a half between the two Children's hospitals in Atlanta and we've had enough now. We are just ready for our kids to get to be kids and I'm ready to be able to stay home more and just enjoy my babies without all these weekly trips to Atlanta.
Our lawyer said he would contact us as soon as they give him a court date. He said If we haven't heard from him by the time Joshua comes out of the hospital next month that we should call him and remind him to hit the court up again. So crossing our fingers that our adoption will be complete before the holidays. It will just add to the celebration. I'm soooooo excited! I just look at my baby and can't believe that someone would give us such a precious gift. He is so precious to us and so very loved.
I'm really liking our new speech therapist. She is very positive. She is going to help us to get Joshua the communication device (Dynavox or similar device) that he needs. Then he will be able to communicate with everyone even those who don't know sign language. We are hoping he will be approved for Dynamic Therapy so that he can start training for it asap. We are really excited about it!
I've been working all week on swapping out summer for fall clothes. We are also getting ready for a huge kid's sale. We just have a lot of kids stuff that we don't use anymore and it's time to pass it on to a new home.
The kids are all good! The Hubby's good! I'm doing good! So life is good in Howellville.
...and if you don't have anything else to pray for then pray for us.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
