She is doing really good tonight. However, the little stinker still hasn't slept and we are now over 24 hours post op. The nurse has gone to find out if they can give her something to make her sleep. It also doesn't help being in the ICU because it is louder and way more busy than the regular floor, that too may be another reason for her lack of sleep. But, even without sleep she has been in the BEST mood EVER!!!! She has been so silly all evening. She can't really do anything but lay in bed and watch TV but she's been signing (yes, she is learning to sign too) and she's been winking and throwing me kisses. She keeps signing "EAT" but I keep telling her that she can't just yet and she's been ok with that answer...so far. I'm just so amazed at how well she is doing. They have kept her pain under control and for that we are very thankful.
