ReplyDeleteSandy~ I just wanted to share... I am a Dorm Mentor (RA) at the Indiana School for the Deaf. I have Senior Girls that live on campus Sunday thru Friday. Anyway, This year, I got an exchange Student from Pakistan. Amazing! D's sign language from Pakistan is different than ASL. I often meet Deaf people that come from different regions of the US which will have a different word (slang) for some words, but D has a complete different language. So I have been Blessed to learn much about her cultural, her religion and her language. It has been quite a learning experience!
ReplyDeleteMay you be Blessed with learning ASL learning skills and have good communication with your son and all you encounter♥
