This was taken from last years post. It has been getting lots of hits in the last few weeks according to my stats, so I decided to re-add it to my blog. I hope my list will give you some ideas of things you can do as a family to make memories together.

Children only get one childhood, make it a great one.

 

 This time of the year, there is just so many  fun things

 to do with the kids.  Here are a few things 

our family enjoys doing together.

3.Play Christmas music

1.Color in a Christmas coloring book.
2.Leave a surprise (secret) gift by a neighbors door.
3. Go to the theatre and a watch a Christmas movie.
4.Put lights up on the outside of your house.
5.Put a little tree up in each kids room.
6. Hang a stocking for your pet.
7.Wear Christmas PJs all day long.
8.Decorate a stocking
9.Make reindeer food in a jar(oats, bread crumbs, & raisins)
I've been told glitter helps the reindeers fly:)
10.Make cookies for Santa
11.Let each child pick out & hang their very own ornament.
12.Kiss under the mistletoe.
13.Camp out in the den by the fireplace:)
14. Make a paper chain and use it to countdown to Christmas.
15.Hang a Christmas coloring picture on the fridge or frame it.

17.Eat dinner using the good Christmas dishes.
18.Have a cookie & movie party for your kids.
19.Buy one of the popcorn tins (with the 3 flavors) and have a popcorn night.
20.Wrap gifts together.
21. Let the kids scatter bird feed to feed the little feathered creatures.
22. Bake a birthday cake for Jesus.
23. Let the kids go out and gather twigs, pine cones, acorns, etc and make a table centerpiece.
24.Send a Christmas card or goodie box to a soldier.
25. Leave a card in the mailbox for the mail man (or woman).
