I just wanted to update you all on baby BB. He is 6 weeks old now and 8.2 lbs /20 inches long. He is not well. We've spent several days going back & forth to Atlanta. The newest doctors that we are seeing at Emory believe our baby has more wrong with him than what we thought before. We are anxiously awaiting his last set of labs. We are hoping and praying that they all turn out good. We will be back in Atlanta next week. They plan to do a MRI of his brain & digestive system, an ABR test to see if he can hear at all, and more labs. They weren't able to take enough blood because he is so small. His blood level is also low. We just want to know what is wrong with our baby and if it can be fixed. Please don't stop praying. He really needs all the prayers he can get.
Pray for us too. We've had a really tough week.
His first hemangiomas (red dots).
He now has over 50 and
they have doubled in size.
Hopefully they won't get any bigger.
His tummy is odd shaped due to
swollen liver
and spleen because of CMV.
His belly button area pokes out
because he has a hernia, but the doc
said it should go away with time
on it's own.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
