I LOVE this place...

We took a trip to Mercier Orchard for some fresh and yummy apples. I LOVE this place! The smell when you walk in, reminds me of the Holidays & Mom's apple pie in the oven.

It's for sure an apple lovers place:) They have everything you can imagine...apple pies, carmel apples, apple butter, apple candy, apple bread....and on...and on...and on. I think we all gained 10 pounds just from visiting this place...lol

And you just know we had to have some of that apple jelly:)

And sorghum syrup.

When I was a kid my Nanny made a mix that she

always called a brown cow.(Not sure if that's just a nanny thing)

She took sorghum syrup & melted butter and mixed it

Then she poured it over warm biscuits or we used it as a dip.

Oh the memories.

I sure miss my Nanny.

 

Yep, my kid was the kid that led the store to create this sign...lol

Not really, but as soon as I read it,

Me & mom giggled and started calling for Jacob...lol

because we sure didn't need another mouth to feed:)

We had a really good time. If you are ever in the North GA area, this is a VERY nice place to visit with your family. They even have a tractor that will take you out to the orchard to pick your own apples. But, if you are on a diet DO NOT even think about visiting this place...lol
