Being sick is especially hard on Z. He doesn't get sick that often ,but when he gets sick he gets really sick very quickly. He is on an inhaler pretty much all the time now and the least little cold really sets him off. He seemed a little under the weather yesterday, but by this morning he was much worse. I took him in first thing and his pulse/ox was at 81. They went ahead and started steroids & breathing treatments. This evening he is doing much better. He loves to scare me. However, even when he is sick,he still smiles on:) He's just a baby doll. He is 20.1 pounds now, so he is a little butter ball. Baby "R" weighs 20.7 so they are almost the same size now. Z's just a little more short & chunky and miss K weighs 26.2 (but 3 pounds has to be her curly hair...lol). She has a head full of beautiful curls.
Baby "R" was back in Atlanta at Children's on Friday. She had to go back for a live scan. They needed to see how far she has healed & check to be sure they had not missed anything on the first scan they did. They found nothing new!!!! She is doing great! So we are happy to say our baby "R" is healed!!!!!! She is crawling everywhere now. She has built her strength back up in her legs, she is pulling up, walking around furniture, and babbling like crazy. It was so funny... When I was getting her signed in to the hospital, baby Z was in the waiting room outside the sign in room and he started baby talking to R. Then "R" started baby talking back. They went on and on back and forth and everybody got so tickled. Z didn't understand why R had left him in the stroller alone. They have bonded and they love each other. It's kinda like having twins or maybe triplets...hehehe:) They are all three just precious.
Miss K is adjusting well to being here. K & R are siblings. K & R are one year apart in age. K adores her baby sister and she is so happy to be back with her. I think we made the right decision by excepting K too. K is an easy going little girl. She is NOT your typical two year old. She minds very well & she is very sweet. If she wasn't so easy, I wouldn't have been able to take all three, so I'm thankful she is easy going. We are about to start potty training and I expect she will do well ,because she picks up so quickly.
Well, that's about it on the fosters. Please pray for our sweet peas. We look forward to them all feeling good again soon. Now,I'm off to wash all our toys & lysol & bleach the house. Gotta run those germs right out of here:)
Have a blessed day!
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
We Are On The Fence!
Sandy, we are sorry to hear they are sick. Maybe it is only a 24 hour bug. We will remember them in our prayers. Blessings.
