Our VBS 2011 is off to a GREAT start! Every year we kick off VBS with a balloon release. It's always a lot of fun for the kids. Each balloon has a card attached with a number & name. Which ever balloon travels the fartherest wins! Last year, my son Jacob won:)
Yesterday, we had 108 present for VBS!!!! That's a good number for a small church like ours. I have 10 tots in my class:)

Life lesson: Jesus will help me.
Tuesday-Connect with love
Bible story-A woman showed love to Jesus. (Luke 7:36-38 44-48
Life lesson:I can love Jesus.
Wednesday-Connect with trust
Bible story-The children came to Jesus(Mark 10:13-16)
Life lesson:I can know Jesus loves me.
Thursday-Connect with others
Bible story-A woman told her friends about Jesus.
Life lesson:I can tell others about Jesus.
We've also been a little crafty:)

We love working in VBS, it is so much fun. We probably won't be working in it this year, because the church we normally attend doesn't have it. Sometimes other churches call on us to help, and we love to. Prayers for a successful Bible School, a healthy grandson and foster child.
