When we took Bailey home today, her dad asked her, "Bailey, where have you been?" She answered her daddy with, "We been on an Add-ben-ture!"
We have and it was good. This was a much needed adventure for us.
Now, I'm home and I have soooooo much I've got to catch up & get done. I also have lots to share, but it will just have to wait for now. I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend too.
Please continue to remember Samantha & Baby Carter. She is in the hospital now. Her blood pressure has been really bad all weekend. They gave her the first shot yesterday to develop his lungs and they gave her the second one at 6 PM today. At this point, it is pretty much an hour by hour thing. The longer he stays in the better he will be. However, if Samantha's gets any worse then she is right now then they will have no choice but to deliver the baby early. She has also been having contractions off and on for the last few days. If she goes into labor on her own they are not going to try to stop it. If he can stay in there at least until tomorrow the shots will cut his risk of respiratory problems by 50 % . He is around 4 lbs, but that can be off either way. He may be larger or he could be smaller. Just please continue to remember them. I am SOOOOOO proud of Samantha. She has been a trooper through it all, despite how sick she has been, and how bad she has felt.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6
I sure hope your AC is working now...
ReplyDeleteHow are Samantha and baby Carter doing? I pray all goes well with them.
Prayers for Samantha and baby Carter! I know how rough it is to feel so bad. I hope he is big and healthy if he comes soon. I have 2.5 weeks left and can't wait to feel "normal" again. Good luck to yall on the new addition and I'll be anxiously awaiting updates!
