Last weekend...

I am behind on here,so I'll be posting some weekend stuff.  I have a few minutes ,so I figured I'd jump on my blog and upload a few pics. My calm Friday night turned into a busy, but super fun Saturday and Sunday and a weekend full of our past fosters.

Do you remember this kid????
It's Amberly! Amberly's mom called me Friday and told me that Amberly really wanted to come and see us ,because she had been missing us and asking for us. I told her that it would be fine. She could come when Hubby picked up Trinton (he comes every other weekend now)...so she did. It was so good seeing her. I haven't gotten her in several weeks, because honestly I have been so VERY busy. Amberly has really grew up a lot. She is getting so tall. She is about to turn 4. Can you believe that? I know some of you may remember when we first got her. She had the nickname of "Ambs" on my blog. She was 14 months old when she came to live with us and she was a handful ,but a precious handful. She kept me soooooo busy and I don't think she ever slept. Now, she is so quiet and easy going. I took her out to eat and she set like a little lady and ordered her own food. She is precious. I promised her that I would come and get her at least once a month, maybe more.

We also went and picked up our little Jelly Bean "Shelbi". She turned a year old last week. I can't believe it really has been a year already. We couldn't wait to get there to get her. When we opened the door at her house, she looked up and saw us and smiled the biggest smile ever.
We took her to church with us on Sunday and then we hung out at Anna's and had lunch and played until it was time to take her home. We had a GREAT time.
Here are a few more pics from the weekend...

Best of friends...
together again:)
Little Brookelyn was sleepy.

Shelbi hasn't quite got the hang of walking yet ,but she is really trying hard. She really wants to walk. Her doctor said considering she was a preemie and also hospitalized for 3 months, that we should expect her to be about 4 months behind other babies her age. However, I think she is doing great. I can't really tell any delay except in growth. She is still less than 5% on the charts and weighs 15 pounds.

Well, that's my weekend in a nut shell:)

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart;and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him,and he will direct thy paths. ~Proverbs 3:5-6

  1. Oh my goodness, I can't believe that she is 1 already! She is just as precious as ever. It sounds like a blessed weekend with some sweet girls. God bless :)
