~As for me and my house we will serve the Lord ~ Joshua 24:15
I'm the worst blog keeper ever. I'm soooooo behind on here, but things are starting to look up and settle down some, so maybe this will be the week to catch up around my blog and with all of you!
The sinus problems I had last week have finally passed after a few antibiotics and some much needed rest. I finally feel like me again!!!!!!! Wooo Hoo!!!!My nanny is still in the hospital and I haven't been able to go see her yet. However, she is in good hands "God's Hands". I know He is taking care of her for me:)Along with a family friend & my mom looking after her.She still had some fluid in her lungs yesterday and they have given her three bags of blood because for some reason her blood was low and she was very anemic. Her kidney had stopped again, but it started back up. Thank you God!!!!!!BTW, My Mom is doing soooooo much better. Her legs are getting better & stronger everyday. She is getting to where she can walk better. God has really been answering prayers. God is good! Thank you God!On Saturday, Lil man (Jacob) faced the giants...really(see pic below)! Look at the size of those boys next to my lil man(#8). Needless to say they ran all over the little ones. But, our little guys played hard and they gave 100%. As a mom, I wanted to yank my lil boy out of the game and I wanted to tell those coaches they must be insane to expect our little boys to take on those giants. But, I didn't say a word. I just sent my lil boy out there and I paced back and forth on the side lines and prayed hard. I was scared. I was afraid someone would get hurt. Three tackled Jacob and knocked the breath out of him. Once he got his breath back, he stood up, shook it off, got a drink of water, and ran right back out there to play..."That's My Boy!". We also had the princess "Bailey" for the weekend. We took a few pics in her little fairy dress. She loves dressing up. I loved this picture, because it was her real smile. She spent Friday and Saturday night with us and we really enjoyed having her.
Just because she is a princess doesn't mean she can't keep up with the boys.
She made buddies on the ball field and she played trucks & cars with them.
Yes, she got her hands dirty:) But, she had sooooo much fun!
And she enjoyed a good bubble bath at the end of the day...
which is one of her favorite things!
Other than that,We had girl's night out Friday.Saturday we spent the day at the ballfield.Sunday we went to church!~~~~~And a lil of this & that.It was a much better weekend!I added more pics from the weekend over at my Photo Blog!
WOW!! That doesn't even look like it would be a fair game.
ReplyDeleteHaving three boys who play football, I always worry about someone getting hurt, even when my boys are the giants on the field. I can't believe that they let those big boys play your littler boys. Our league matches up team by weight so that unbalanced games like that don't happen. Glad he came through it ok. What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger. Football included.
ReplyDeleteYou are fine! Life gets in the way A LOT!
ReplyDeleteSandy,
ReplyDeleteLife happens and then we have a tendency to put our focus where it should be on our family and loved ones. That is the way it should be. Rest in that, and when time permits, rejoin the blogging community. I know during this time others have taken that priority seriously and when they have time, we visit again. To do what is best is what is necessary and we will be praying for you until then.
Love and Hugs ~ Kat
That is a darling picture of the little princess!
ReplyDeleteI'm a bad blogger too, trying to catch up as well. I've found I like to 'marathon' blog and schedule them for later! Some of them are pretty easy, but's it just getting to them! So I find if I can do one easy post, I can do three!
But I also think there may well be a time to just not blog ;)!
You are so busy. Glad to hear that they are healing. Great pictures. I love the one in the fairy tutu. beautiful.
