If you would like to join in on the fun,I'll pass you five words...just send me your email.
Anyhow, that's how it works.
~~~
1. Song -I love music. I am especially fond of southern christian/gospel and (some) country music. One of the most inspirational songs to me is "Amazing Grace" and I love it sung southern style:) It's one of those songs that just moves me...along with Farther Along, Precious Lord, and Beulahland...they are among my favorites.
2. Day-Psalm 118:24-This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
3. Searching -I have been searching for cute unique baby things for my soon-to-be lil granddaughter. Baby girl stuff is just soooooo sweet:) I'm so excited!!!
4. Lost-I once was lost, but now I'm found. Was blind, but now I see(Amazing Grace Lyrics).
These words sends chills through my body. These words give me hope. Once I was lost. Once I had no hope. Once I was a sinner doomed to an eternity in Hell. But then one day in 1980 at Calvary Baptist Church in Bremen, I met my Saviour. I found my Lord. He saved me. He gave me hope. He gave me a future in Heaven. Where once I was afraid to die ,because I knew I was lost...now I'm not. For now I know that this is not my home. I'm just a stranger passing through this land. Yes once I was lost and once I was blind but Praise God, Now I see!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, I'm saved by the grace of God and yes He is the very best thing that ever happened to me.
Good post. I esp liked your comments on "broken." I know some broken people right now and this message could give them great hope. Good writing.
ReplyDeleteSandy,
ReplyDeleteI love your take on these 5 words. I would have to agree with Warren that Broken has a lot of inspiration and hope in it, despite the meaning behind the word.
I too love Amazing Grace! It is a timeless classic and one I hope to be singing in heaven one day!
