What A Love...

When you think of Easter what do you think of?

If you are a kid then it's probably the Easter bunny,

 Easter baskets, and yummy treats.

Those are fun things to think about and they make Easter

exciting for children, but that is not what Easter is about.

Easter is about the greatest sacrifice done by man

and  known by man.

Jesus gave up His life so that I could go free.

He carried my sins.

 He suffered for my sins.

He carried my cross.

He took my place.

He hung on a tree.

My sins were nailed to HIM.

He paid the price for my sins.

He died for me.

Why?

Because He loves me that much.

Wow!

What a love that must be.

Not because I deserve it, because I don't.

I am so unworthy.

I'm so stained from sin.

I am far from blameless.

I'm not good.

No, I'm not good.

I sin daily.

I sin often.

I let down my family.

I don't always show enough love to my spouse.

I don't always show enough love to my kids.

I'm not always as good to my friends.

I don't always respond as kindly as I should.

Sometimes I get angry.

Sometimes I pitch fits.

I am selfish.

Sometimes I'm inconsiderate.

I'm rotten.

Rotten to the bone.

Yes, I'm a sinner.

A sinner saved by the grace of GOD!!!!!!!

I've been forgiven!!!!!

I am a child of the KING!!!!

I am HIS chosen one.

Blessed

of the Lord.

God is good!!!!

Hippity Hoppity Easter's On It's Way...

 We have some very excited little kids at our house:)

They are so ready for Easter.

Today we enjoyed a fun filled day with our church family.

We practiced egg hunting in our den before

we went to our church's egg hunt / dinner,

so that Z would know what to do:)

He  loved hunting eggs.

JJ had a great time too!

Because he is a foster we have to blur his face.

However, he won't be a foster for very much longer

because he too is going to TPR this fall.

Then our JJ won't have to hide behind the blur.

Z found over 30 eggs!!!! (Thanks Bree for helping Z! )

It was fun, fun, fun!

Now we are off to color some eggs

and

we have got to get our carrots, celery, and water ready

to leave out for Mr Easter Bunny.

We want him to have a full tummy

while he is out and about filling

all those baskets tonight:)

MeMe's Little Sweet Pea...

My little princess is growing like a weed and getting smarter by the minute. There is nothing she can't say or do. She cracks me up. She is two going on ten...lol She amazes me every day. I love this little girl and she knows it. My nanny told me that grand babies are the best. My nanny was one smart lady:) I never knew how much fun having a grandbaby would be until Brookelyn came along. I didn't know what I was missing:) This kid has brought so much joy into our lives.

She is such a girly girl and I LOVE it!

Our Little Man...

Yes, he is a foster, but we have

 written permission to share his pics.

Our Z has turned into a stinker.

He is 19 months now,

but he thinks he is a big boy.
It's hard to believe he has been with us for 18 months.

He is into everything and I do mean everything.

He keeps me on my toes and

makes sure I never have a dull moment.

He loves his foster brothers best of all.

He loves things that roll (trucks, cars, balls...)
His favorite new word is "NO".
Everything you ask him he replies with "NO".
His other new words are...
 out, get, pawpaw, move, hot, and down.

He wears 18/24 months in clothes.
Size 4 diapers.

Size 5 shoes.

He weighs exactly 25 pounds.

He is a short chunky little monkey
with a big head (just more room for kisses).

I LOVE that he is all boy.

He is 100% BOY!

A rough & tough little american boy.

He is going through the crazy hair stage.

But, he LOVES hats,

so that's good.

Is he cute or what?

He is just as mischievous as he is cute

but he wouldn't be Z if he wasn't...lol

Miss Bailey...

Bailey spent last weekend with us.

Her aunt asked if I could snap a few pics of her.

 I did.

I LOVE taking pics of Bay,

but Bay really doesn't like having her pics taken.

I wonder if it's because

 I took to many when she was little....hmmm

Oh well.

One day she will be glad that I did.

I sure do love this little girl.

She will ALWAYS be my baby.

Update on the baby...

Our sweet baby boy seems to be getting stronger every day.

He has been to numerous doctors and has

had all kinds of procedures done over the last

few weeks....that's why I've been MIA.

His most important tests were his spinal tap

and the CT of his brain. His next test is a MRI.

If the CMV is not in his brain then that means he shouldn't have any

damage or delays from it.

CMV is also called the Disabling Virus.

It's some bad stuff.

We believe he can see ,but not so sure that he can hear.

He still has over 50 hemangiomas 

but hopefully they will go away soon.

Please keep praying for our lil guy.

He sure is precious and we sure are loving

having him here.

Our little 5 pound munchkin

is now an 8 pound chunker!!!!

He is 5 weeks old already. Wow! It has flew by.

I truly believe the last 5 weeks have been the busiest I've

 ever had in my life and it's been very trying to say the least
but he is worth it!

Our sweet little Carter...

Our little GRANDbaby is getting sooooo big. He is 10 months old now and weighs 17 lbs.
His mommy took him to have Easter pics made with some real animals and he loved it! I just wish the pics were a little more clearer, but Carter did so good in his pics, that I just had to share.

Is this one cute or what?

I LOVE this little boy with all my heart.

We have been one active family lately.

I have tons of pics and things to share.

Maybe I will have a little more time this evening

to update. If not, I will try to get on in the early AM when

the sweet peas are sleeping.
