Just a good day to be outside...

Guess who came to see Uncle Brent & Aunt Sandy this weekend??? If you guessed Shelbi (better known as Jelly Bean) then you guessed right! She spent Saturday with us and we had a GREAT time!!!! She is such a precious little girl and we are soooo blessed to have her in our life.

Aunt Sandy loves you sweet Jelly Bean.
She could almost pass as mine with her hair and brown eyes.
I love taking pictures
especially of the kids I LOVE !!!!
The temps were near 70 on Saturday
and we pretty much spent the
whole day outside in our yard.
Why do all kids like to look through
the handle of a wagon?...hmmm

Miss Bailey
She looks so big in this picture.
Trinton he is growing up so fast too:)
I LOVE this picture.
It just looks sweet.
All smiles
I just wonder what she was thinking about here...hmmmm

Lil Mama dog LOVES when
the kids come out to play.
She always has that one little long
 tooth that sticks out...lol
I think that means she's happy.
She's a sweetheart.
Red even came around the house
to see what was going on.

Lil Jelly Bean wanted to come out 2 play too.
We set her down on the driveway and
she didn't know what to think.

Jon cracked us some walnuts...yummy!
Rub-a-dub-dub
Shelbi's in the tub.
Is that Shelbi or Santa????
The best feeling in the whole wide world.
We had a great Saturday.

Let's Play Some Football

Nothing delights my heart more then watching my children spend time together. Our first four kids were three and under and were very close growing up. Then 8 years later we decided to add to our family and along came my Lil man "Jacob". However, in many ways he is like an only child, but yet he also has the typical "baby of the family" personality. If I had it to do over, I would have had one more after him, because he doesn't like feeling like an only child and he really hasn't had the built in playmate like the other four did.
So when Ashley said. "Let's play some football" Jacob was all for it. It was a rare big sister and little brother moment and yes I had to take pictures:)

Trinton (Our past foster) joined in on the fun...that too is rare
because Trinton is NOT an outdoors kid like Jacob is.

I think they were planning something here...lol

Bailey wanted to play too:)
And so she did....

Childhood...what a wonderful time.

"Childhood is the most beautiful
of all life's seasons".
But it just doesn't last nearly long enough.
We spent the whole day outside.
I know that we don't have that many more warm days left,
so we enjoyed today.
My sweet babies...
oh how I love you.
How did I ever get so lucky
to have you in my life?
"The laughter of children is my favorite sound".
Just a touch of color...I couldn't resist:)
Who would have known that an
old rusty wagon  could be so fun.
I bet they went up and down the driveway
a hundred times or more today.
Just smile.....
it makes the world brighter.

Playing with color again:)
Thank God For Kids!
