Fermented Cabbage Juice (Detox)...



This is a body detox juice my friend Jamie shared with me. 

Fermented Cabbage Juice

2 cups of chopped cabbage or kale
1 cup of NON tap water
1 tablespoon of Celtic, sea, or kosher salt (can not be iodized) I like Celtic salt best!

Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until you have no chunks but don't over blend/ liquefy it.

Pour into a mason jar and put lids on it. Let it ferment for at least 3 days. No need to burp.


Once prepared, leave it on the counter (out of the sun/ darker area) until you’re ready to use it. The ones you’re using you can refrigerate but you don’t have to. It will last for months or years just on the counter. If it grows a layer of mold on the top just scoop it off... It’s still good. The juice can’t be frozen and it can’t be exposed to the sun or high temperatures. If that happens, all the live bacteria will die. She encouraged me to try to drink a quart a day...not all at once but throughout the day. Each time, that I drank a cup of this juice,  I followed it with a cup of water. It's good to detox your body ever so often.
