Just an update...

I can't believe that February is just around the corner. Wasn't Christmas just yesterday?!?! January has been a pretty busy month for us, but a good one. We've had a lot going on around here, but that's pretty normal for us these days.

We have been working on getting the boys ready for PreK. Blaze will start 3 year old Prek in March, after he is turns three and Z will be starting 4 year old PreK some time in the next few weeks. Blaze, bless his heart, has no idea what's coming. He doesn't even understand school or what it even is. I can sign school, but he has no idea what I'm saying. We have been meeting off and on for the last few weeks (actually months) with the BOE and our county special needs team. It's a lot of work getting ready for school with a special needs child. Blaze has so many different things going on. We are trying to address each need and trying to decide which program and school will be the best fit for him. I almost wonder if sending him to PreK right now is really what is best for him, everyone assures me that I'm doing the right thing, but this hasn't been easy for me. I have been consumed with worry and questions since we started this process. If it was just being deaf that we had to deal with then it wouldn't be so hard, but it's so, so, so much more than that.

Our Blazer had to go to the ped yesterday for what we thought was a cold/sinus infection. He did have a sinus infection because the little stinker had stuck an apple peel up his nose (I guess last weekend). They pulled it out and started him on antibiotics for 10 days. Only my child...lol

I spoke with Tiny's caseworker this week. She told me pretty much that Tiny is ours. She said that they will be publishing in the paper for any unknown dads (since they aren't doing a DNA test on mom's husband). The husband and the mom have both surrendered their rights and  their 10 days to change their mind is up. However, the husband (legal dad) says he is not the dad. I think baby looks just like him, so he probably is. Running it in the paper is all that we have left to do then we will meet with our lawyer and start the process. It will still be a few weeks I'm sure, because they are soooooooooooo slow in her county. Every day is one step closer to adoption day. Yay!!!!! Tiny had a check up this week. She is now 10 months old, 15 pounds, and 25 inches long. She is doing really well. She is our doll baby and she has us all wrapped around her little finger (and she knows it).

Our 2 year old foster girl Curly Top is suppose to be leaving us in Feb. She is going to be adopted. We should be starting her transition this coming week. I think this is a good thing and the right thing for her. She really needs to be the baby of her family, because she craves constant attention and often times acts out when she is not getting enough. Sometimes, I can't give her all the attention she wants because I have other little ones in my home. In her new home she will be the only child, so she will get lots of TLC and attention.  We are going to miss our spunky little Curly Top.

Well, that's all I have time for right now. I hope you are having a great weekend!

A little peanut butter, fun and sun...

I think he likes peanut butter...lol
It's pretty awesome considering this child
hardily eats anything.
Despite the mess I couldn't get mad at him
because he looked so stinking  cute.

Last week, we finally had some warmer weather.
Perfect for an afternoon walk with the boys.
Blaze really needed to get outside
and he sure enjoyed it.

He discovered the trampoline doesn't hurt as
bad when you fall,
so he practiced on his walking.

This child never gives up...ever.

Keep up your hard work sweet boy,
one day you will run.

Dirty Knees = Lots of fun and giggles!

He even helped his mommy push baby sister.

He loves his little sister.

Sweet Addy Bug is three!...

Happy 3rd Birthday
 Beautiful Girl.

Our sweet little Addy turned three today.
It's hard to believe she is already three.
She is a sweet little girl with
an easy going and sometimes
 bashful personality.
This picture was taken back at
the end of summer,
but it was one of
my favorites of her.

Happy Birthday Beautiful Baby.
Paw Paw and Me Me love you
Bigger than the sky!
