Just an update...

So what's new around here? hmmm....
My hubby got released to go back to work after being out for a week due to torn ligaments in his foot. Yay!!!!

Joshua got checked today to be sure the pneumonia had cleared up and it has! *Great News*

After 4 meetings with the BOE, I finally got my way!!!!!!! Plus a few extras. Baby girl will get homebound 3 year old prek and 2 extra therapies a week to go along with her other three therapies. The more the better.

We are also preparing for Bry's tummy surgery in 2 weeks. She's going to have to stay at least three nights, but it should be life changing for her in a good way.

Joshua will be getting a new speech therapist. The new therapist has a hearing impaired child too, so hopefully she will be able to work better with Joshua and hopefully educate me about all that is out there for my baby.

We have called and booked our fall vacation. We are planning a trip to the mountains with my parents.

well, that's all I have time for. Have a great evening!

Bailey's 6th birthday...

Our Bailey Bug turned the BIG 6!!!

This little girl has been a huge blessing to us.
I never dreamed that when we handed her back
5 years ago to her birth parents, that we would ever
see her again. Well, boy was we wrong.
We've had her almost every other weekend
since then and several extra days each summer.
We've had the joy of watching her grow up.
We are thankful for that.

One step closer...

We finally got the letter we've waited on for so long (Since April). Our adoption worker Mrs H called to let me know. She asked me, "How's your Monday going Mrs Sandy?" I said, "Oh pretty good." She said, "Well it's about to get a whole lot better!". Then she shared the great news and yes I was ecstatic!!!! So now what? Our paper work has to be turned over to our case workers supervisor for her to look over for error. Mean while, we are suppose to go ahead and meet with our new attorney. We are changing attorneys because the other attorney was charging us expenses that she wasn't suppose to be charging us. It's been a loooooong process and we've jumped through a lot of unnecessary hurdles, but we are finally seeing a light at the end of the tunnel. We are so close now. The time frame is now within the next two weeks! So hopefully within the next two weeks we will have an adoption date on the court calendar. We give that a big thumbs up!

We are so close to FOREVER with our little boy.
Oh happy Day!!!!!!!

Our trip to Panama City Florida...

Last week we took a trip to Florida. It's been about 4 years since we've had our toes in the sand, so we were pretty excited. It was a much needed vacation. It was also our very first family vacation with Joshua. We arranged nursing and respite for our other two foster kids so that we could have some one on one time with Joshua. We really enjoyed him. We also enjoyed Jacob and Ashley. Jacob doesn't get a lot of mom and dad time, because we are so busy with the babies, but in Florida he had our full attention. Ashley was a huge help with the boys and she kept me company. I love my baby girl.:)

Our first day wasn't that great because Joshua started running a fever and was having some trouble with his breathing which landed him in the ER for the day, but after some fluids, antibiotics, and a few breathing treatments he was much better. He had upper lobe pneumonia, but by day 2 he was great!

He loved the beach. We were afraid with all his sensory issues that the beach, sand, and sun would overwhelm him, but it didn't!!!!!!!!!!! He did great!!!!!!!

Yes, these are the cute toes in the pic above:)

My daughter Katie , son-in-law Dylan, and grandbaby Kaylan
joined us the second day. I really enjoyed them too.
Kaylan LOVED the beach.
Her and Joshua had a blast together and were such sweet babies
the whole trip.

Sweet babies.
He was trying to put her hat on.
He kept signing "hat".
