A quick update...

Tomorrow will be a week post hospital!!!! Yeah!!!! This is an accomplishment for Brylee. We had a couple of days that I thought we wouldn't make it, but we did!!! Thanks to her amazing nurses who are working so hard to keep her well & home.

She is doing good. She is adjusting better than I ever imagined and it felt good hearing one of her nurses say, "She is exactly where she needs to be". There has been a lot of mixed feelings about why we have Brylee & her aunt and uncle no longer do, but it was a decision that was made after a lot of heart to heart talks & prayers among her family & ours. I'm not going to go into a lot of detail, but I can say it wasn't an easy decision for Bry's family and it was a long legal process but it's behind us now and she is home

Maybe soon I can add a longer post and maybe some pictures too, but right now my time is very limited. My house has been busy with lots of visitors here to see Baby Girl. It has taken a lot of people working together and praying for us to bring this all together. We have a lot on our plates right now and when I do have spare time, I spend it with my family or catching up on sleep. With time it's going to get easier or at least that's what everyone is telling me. Looking forward to that day and just waiting patiently on the Lord.
Please keep praying for us all.

A sweet moment...
I wanted to share with you the phone call I got a couple of days before Bry came home. My phone rang. I answered it and the lady went on to tell me that she was an equipment manager. She was at Children's and she had stopped by Bry's room to see if I was there. She wanted to talk with me about what things we need to make Bry's life better & easier on us all.
She asked me if it was ok if Brylee got a pink wheelchair. She said that Brylee ordered her own wheelchair and requested it to be pink. I love our girl! I told her that it was up to Bry and if that's what she wanted, then pink it would be. How many 2 year olds order their very own wheelchair and are specific on what it should look like? She is so smart. Bless her heart. She can't control much that's happening in her life right now, but this is one thing she decided all on her own. You go Brylee!!! Needless to say, A pink wheel chair should arrive any day now:)

We are home!!

Brylee is FINALLY HOME!!!!!  We came home from Children's on Saturday. She is doing great and we are all trying to get on some type of routine. It's always a little crazy when we add a new kid to our home and this kid has kept me extra busy. When I have more time I'll share more and add a few pics too, but for now we are as BUSY as bees :) Keep us in your prayers.

Guess who was at my house!!!???....

Guess who came to my house last Sunday and stayed  3 whole nights!!!!???? Zach!!! His mom called us Sunday and told us we could have him for a few days...yay!!! This was the first time here since we gave him back. He was so happy and soooooo precious...as always. He turned 2 last Friday. So we were tickled that she let us get him. We celebrated with cake & family at my Mom's Sunday.

Zach & BB just hanging out and watching cartoons (eating apples too:).  I love these 2 boys with all my heart. They have added a lot of joy to all our lives. What a gift they are to this world. Thank you Lord for blessing us with these two little boys.

A lil about Katie's baby...

Katie went to see an OB high risk specialist today. Her OB thought that she had placenta previa and wanted her seen by a high risk doctor, but she doesn't...thank you Lord!!!! We were also concerned that Katie's baby may have what BB had "CMV". But the doctor said that he doesn't think so. He plans to see her again next month to recheck everything again, but he is pretty positive that Katie's baby is a healthy baby girl!!! Yes, she is having a little girl!!!! Please keep Katie and baby Kaylan in your prayers :) Yep, that's her name!!!!! That is Katie & Dylan's names combined = Kaylan:)

Baby B's Big Day...

Today was BB's Big day! He got his hearing aids put on!!!!! He can't hear at all in his left ear ,but he can hear some in his right. They said, mostly emergency sounds like sirens, smoke detectors, etc. But we really don't know what he hears or don't hear.  Only time will tell.

Update...

Nothing really new to share. Brylee is still in Atlanta. They want to run several test on her to see why she has been so irritable in the hospital. She acts like something is bothering her, but she can't tell us.. The things that usually make her happy aren't working....not even my cell phone (which she loves). So they want to see if something is going on that we can't see. I have no idea when she will be coming home. Other that the odd behavior, she is doing much better. No fever, nolonger on oxygen, and off of the antibiotics.
I just wonder if she is fussy because she's back in the hospital enviroment and she is just tired of it. I know I am. I DO NOT like hospitals at all...grrrrr Please keep Brylee in your prayers. I seems we take one step forward and two steps back.
